The world’s largest eSports championship tournament, featuring the wildly popular game Dota 2, will take place in August this year in Seattle, Washington, US.

According to a blog post by Dota 2’s developer company Valve, the tournament will once again be held in the US and will stretch over six days, starting Monday, August 3 and will conclude on Saturday, August 8.

A total of 16 teams are expected to compete in the main event, all team invites will be sent out “shortly after May 1″.

Valve said tickets are not yet available for purchase, but the company has assured the public that it would release more information before they go on sale.
